Ogden Diamond Squares opened its doors on November 10, 2022 in Ogden, Utah. Our Club dances on Thursday evenings at the Golden Hour Rec Center. At one time Ogden was the mecca for square dancing and drew very large crowds, not to mention many squares and happy dancers. While Salt Lake City now grows in popularity with great square dance clubs, Diamonds was started to provide a place in Northern Utah for dancers not wanting to travel so far. Our Club also offers classes for new dancers. Ogden Diamond Squares is club-run and currently has all women officers. Our wonderful Caller Ray Rhea and his wife Eathel make up the other part of our team. What we lack in experience we make up for in enthusiasm and our desire to keep our Club going. Ray also takes time to teach some line dancing just to mix it up a bit. Ogden Diamond Squares invites you to visit our Club and try some diversity in square dancing.
